The Antiochian Orthodox Christian Women of North America was founded in 1973 through the vision of His Eminence, Metropolitan PHILIP.  Our Chapter at St. Nicholas is referred to as St. Katherine's Ladies Guild and is under the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Women of North America's Constitution.  Women are the backbone of our church. We are one of the official organizations of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America and are known as the "Antiochian Women".

St. Katherine's Ladies Guild in the past year became very diversified with its activities such as putting together an organized Coffee Hour after Sunday Liturgy.  Our ladies baked cookies for St. Nicholas's Annual Holiday Cookie Sale and donated food to create Thanksgiving baskets to give to the needy.

Once a year, Metropolitian JOSEPH assigns a project for all of the Chapters of Antiochian Women to have a fundraiser to donate to his assigned project.  Our fundraiser is held on Meatfare Sunday and every year we have a Prime Rib/Chicken dinner.

All lady parishioners are invited to particiapte with us.

Community Outreach Program

Saint Nicholas Church is active in the Myrtle Beach and Geogetown Outreach Programs.  We are active in the local Neighborhood Watch Program.  We collect food and much needed items and try to make our church members aware of the wonderful things they accomplish for our local programs.

Helping Hands of Georgetown, SC

Our church members volunteer once a month to serve the homeless in the city of Georgetown, SC.

Myrtle Beach Street Reach Mission

The parishioners at St. Nicholas Church donate food and clothes to the needy people in Myrtle Beach.  Also, once a month, at our church on Saturday, we feed the Homeless prepared food made by church members.   The other weeks in the month the Homeless are fed by other churches of all faiths.
